During Year 13 Enrichment time, Emma Duffy from New Driver NI presented virtually to our students on useful information for those who are starting out on the road for the first time.
The presentation discussed the following topics:
Learning to Drive
Passing the test
Buying a car
Insuring a car
Avoiding penalty points
Staying safe on the roads
New Driver Pledge.
The students are encouraged to sign up to the ‘New Driver Pledge’ and to raise awareness with their friends and family. Each student received a copy of the booklet entitled ‘New Driver NI – Northern Ireland’s Guide for New Drivers’.
