On Friday 24th June 2022, we held a retirement function at Kelly’s Inn Garvaghey for a number of our esteemed former colleagues.
After an incredible 38 years of service, former Head of Business Studies Mrs Mary Mulgrew was presented with gifts by her sister and Senior Teacher in the school, Mrs Owens.
Our former Assistant Principal Mrs Martina McCarron was recognised for an equally impressive 34 years of teaching and her former colleague and our Head of Geography Mrs McLoughlin presented her with gifts.
Mrs Imelda Hackett, our former Classroom Assistant was with us for 20 years and her former colleague and our Executive Officer Mrs McGinn presented her with tokens of our appreciation.
Former Caretaker Mr Ronnie Loe was presented with gifts to thank him for his 16 years of service by Vice Principal Mr Rodgers.
Mrs Sharon Little, our former Executive Officer was with us for 7 years and her former colleague and our Executive Officer Mrs McGeary presented her with her retirement gifts.
It was a wonderful night of speeches, food and entertainment to honour all 5 of our former colleagues for all they have given to our school over the years and it was even more special to have their family members celebrate with them.
We wish them all a relaxing retirement filled with good health and happiness and we know that they will continue to enjoy this new chapter in their lives.
