Three of our Year 10 pupils took part in this year's BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition. Shane McElvogue 10AM, Jack McNelis 10AM and Liam Donnelly 10JW, made the journey down to the RDS in Dublin to present their innovative idea of the "Smart Line", an automatic washing line to assist with the cost of living, using moisture sensors to ensure clothes are covered during precipitation - what a fantastic idea!
The opening ceremony featured President, Michael D Higgins, as an honoured guest, and the first round of the judging kicked off with our pupils answering questions from officials about their invention.
We are very proud of our Year 10 boys for competitions exhibition in Dublin.
