SIMs Parent App

This is the latest tool of our parental engagment at St Ciaran's College.  All parents who have installed it have found it extremely useful and we encourage all parents to sign up to this system.  The app will give you important information at the click of a button.  The school uses the App to provide parents with electronic copies of reports, student attendance details, achievements from teachers and timetable information.  Parents can also use the data collection facility to inform the school of any changes in parental or student personal information.

Please read our acceptable use policy, agreeing to this policy is enabled via the consent option on the data collection facility.

SIMs Pay

This is our online payment system, which enables St Ciaran's College to collect payment for items such as school meals, trips, events, clubs and other school activities, in a safe and secure way.  You will be able to view your child's school meal balance via the App and top up conveniently via the device you are using.  Messages from SIMs Pay will be sent to the App to inform of low school meal balance, new products, payment confirmations and inform when payment installments are due.

I haven't received the invitation email for the App or SIMs Pay. What should I do?

In order for us to be able to send out the Parent App invitation email we need your email address. Please send an email to:


Can I use a shared email address?

No. Each SIMS Parent App login is individual and each parent will need a separate login via a separate email account.


What do I need to do if my first registration didn’t work?

Please complete the help form that can be accessed from this page or alternatively send your name and email address to  We will resend your invitation email enabling you to re-register.


Can I use SIMS ID to register?

No. Unfortunately the SIMS ID option is not available for parents/carers because it is mainly for member of Staff and Students. Parents/carers should register with the remaining options for example with a Facebook, Google, Microsoft or Twitter account.


Do I need to register separately for each of my children attending this school?

No. When you sign in to SIMS Parent, events and information for all of your children attending this school will be displayed in one place.


If I have children who attend different schools, and if each of the schools is using SIMS Parent, can I view all of my children in one place?

It is now possible for parents to use the same login details to register with multiple SIMS Parent schools. This will allow users to change school once inside SIMS Parent from a drop-down menu located on the school name in the top right-hand corner of the page.


I can’t remember my password. What should I do?

Visit the website of your account provider (i.e. Microsoft, Google, Facebook or Twitter) and follow their instructions for resetting your password.


Can the Parent App be accessed on a laptop or home computer as well? (Web version)

Yes. The Parent App can be accessed via the App on a smart phone or website here:


I was able to use Parent App until now but suddenly it doesn't let me log in.

We don’t manage the login details for the Parent App. You should be able to sign in using your own logins that you used at registration. These logins could be your Facebook / Gmail / Twitter / Microsoft. So for example if you registered with your Facebook account then you login to the Parent App with your Facebook username and password.

If the App doesn’t let you log in please try the following:

  1. Do you remember which account of yours (Facebook / Gmail / Twitter / Microsoft) you originally registered with? You can only login using those account usernames and passwords.

  2. Log in on the Parent App website at or there’s a link on the front page of the academy website at with your registered account (Facebook / Gmail / Twitter / Microsoft). Does it let you log in? If not please check that you can log in to your Facebook / Gmail / Twitter / Microsoft account as the Parent App uses those credentials. If you don’t remember these login details you’ll have to reset your Facebook / Gmail / Twitter / Microsoft account passwords.

  3. If you can login on the Parent App website then you can move on to try the Parent App on your mobile device. Please make sure that the Parent App is installed on your mobile.
