The Archdiocese of Armagh has held their own launch service to mark Catholic Schools Week. The mass toolk place at St John the Baptist Church, Drumcree and celebrated this year’s theme, “Normal Lives, Called to Holiness”.
Our school community was represented by the students from 10LD who had the opportunity to reflect on how ordinary people can use their gifts and talents with courage, acting as a light in today’s world.

During the homily, Archbishop Eamon Martin referenced the inspirational words of Pope Leo XIV who said, “Each of you is a start but together you form constellations that guide the future”

As a school we celebrated our annual School Mass during Catholic Schools week. Thank you to Father O’Dwyer for celebrating the mass and the choir/musicians for the beautiful music. A special mention to the RE Department for their planning and preparation.

“Holiness does not mean performing extraordinary things, but doing ordinary things with love and faith” – Pope Francis on Blessed Carlo Acutis
