European Music Festival

Our Year 10 student, Maeve McCartin travelled to Italy to play the Uilleann Pipes in a prestigious music festival.

Maeve was invited by Armagh Pipers Club which she is a member of, and her schedule will include performances with groups from Poland, Germany and Italy. She is one of only 6 Irish students selected to perform, which speaks volumes!

As well as her performance as a gifted musician, she visited museums, attended Italian school lessons and musical workshops and will sampled the wonderful traditional Italian cuisine!

This was a great honour for Maeve and Principal, Mr Lavery was delighted to both congratulate her on this achievement.
