86 of our Y12, 13, & 14 Irish language pupils enjoyed a residential trip to Gaoth Dobhair Gaeltacht this week.
Year 12 pupils visited Ionad Cois Locha, Dún Lúiche and went kayaking in Bun an Inbhir and swimming in An Chúirt hotel.
A-Level pupils were treated to a tour of the area by local historian Noel Ó Gallachóir, went surfing on Carrickfinn beach and visited Raidio na Gaeltachta where they contributed to Áine Ní Bhreiseláin’s show Bladhaire with Irish conversations and traditional reels. Both groups attended an Irish singing class and a céilí in Teach Jack, Glassagh.
