Congratulations to the senior football team from St Ciaran’s College, Ballygawley on a fantastic achievement in reaching and succeeding in the Markey Football Final.

The team produced a series of outstanding performances throughout the competition, showing great resilience, skill and teamwork in every round on their journey to the final. Each match along the way highlighted the players’ commitment and work ethic, with strong defensive displays, clinical attacking play and a never-say-die attitude carrying the team through some tough challenges.

Final Score: St Ciaran’s Ballygawley 4-12 Carndonagh CS Donegal 2-15

This success is a credit to the players themselves and to the dedication of the management team, Mr Devlin and Mr McCann, whose guidance, preparation and belief in the squad were evident throughout the campaign.

The school would also like to sincerely thank Tyrone Fabrication for their continued and generous sponsorship of all our school football teams, and Murphy Gloves for sponsoring the entire panel with gloves for the Markey Final, support that is hugely appreciated by players and staff alike.
