40 Students from St Ciaran’s College along with 40 Students from Integrated College Dungannon headed to New York for a joint trip.

Our students had an unforgettable adventure visiting some of the city’s most iconic landmarks. We started with the incredible Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, learning about the powerful stories of hope and immigration that shaped the United States.

From they then enjoyed a scenic walk through Central Park, taking in the beautiful views and fresh air on a lovely day.

We wrapped up the day in the bright lights of Times Square, where students soaked in the energy of one of the world’s most famous places.

A wonderful day full of learning, exploration and memories that will last a lifetime!

St Patrick’s Cathedral

A beautiful and memorable experience, attending Mass at St Patrick's Cathedral, NYC.

Broadway

Our students enjoyed a visit to the New Amsterdam Theatre, where they enjoyed the Broadway production of Aladdin. From the superb costumes, passionate vocals and amazing set design - there was truly something for everyone to enjoy!

Brian Martin, the musical theatre performer and educator, shared his professional experience with our students during a workshop in the city.

He is currently appearing in the Off-Broadway production of Heathers: The Musical, and previously performed on Broadway in Mrs Doubtfire (musical), Frozen (musical) and the Tony Award-winning Some like It Hot (musical).

The students and staff even took the time while in NYC to support the senior boys team in their All-Ireland final.
