As part of the Year 13 Enrichment Programme, year 13 students were able to avail of Paediatric First Aid Training - a training course on the Principles of First Aid Management in Paediatric Emergencies. The students achieved success in this training course and are pictured proudly displaying their certificates. Mrs Owens is very grateful for the support of Dr Kevin Moore (Western Emergency Skills Training Limited) for sharing his expertise in this field.
Year 13 were also able to avail of UCAS workshops which consisted of 3 sessions, namely:
Applying through UCAS
Making the right choices
Personal statement writing
Top tips to stand out from the crowd
During these workshops, year 13 students had the opportunity to register for UCAS, research courses and universities and begin to plan their personal statement. Year 13 students also were able to ask questions and book individual careers guidance meetings. Thanks to Mr McManus for his support with this.
