Many thanks to Lorraine Minn from Action Mental Health, who recently delivered an insightful and engaging ‘Provoking Thought’ workshop to our Year 10 students. Her session shone a light on the vital role that sleep plays in our daily lives—how it supports our ability to learn, concentrate, and make good decisions, as well as its crucial impact on our overall emotional wellbeing.

Lorraine helped students understand the science behind healthy sleep habits and offered practical strategies to improve their routines. The workshop encouraged our young people to reflect on their own lifestyle choices and highlighted that good sleep isn’t just helpful—it’s essential for maintaining positive mental health. We are very grateful for Lorraine’s expertise and the valuable message she shared with our pupils.
