As part of the upcoming celebrations marking the 60th anniversary of St Ciaran’s College, pupils from the Art & Design Department have participated in a special commemorative design project. The aim of this initiative was to engage pupils in the creative process of designing a 3-foot stained-glass window that will become a permanent feature within the school. 9RP took part in a four-week Water Quality Improvement Project, delivered by The Speedwell Trust and funded by DAERA. During the project, the pupils visited the River Torrent in Parkanaur to carry out some geography fieldwork tasks. They also assessed the water quality by checking species indicators and carried out sampling to check for the presence of pollutants.
